Burke and Hare

Some long list of shows that I've got but not watched, September is quite a busy month. Maybe it's just that I've got a series of shows that I wished to complete before I move on to other things.

Feeling for a British show, I picked up Burke and Hare not fully knowing what the show was about. All I know is that it had Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis. I've always been a fan of Simon Pegg since Shaun of the Dead and still amazes with this show.

The most interesting fact is that the show is based on a real life story of the Burke and Hare murders. Got to know that at the end of the show where they showcased the life after the murders.

Pegg and Serkis did a great Scottish accent too. I find the accent very interesting likewise for Cantonese (which I still can't understand).  The show also filled with other known actors such as Christopher Lee, Tim Curry and Stephen Merchant (An Idiot Abroad).

Somehow with the recent British movies that I've caught throughout 2012, I'm beginning to enjoy many British movie. Heck, I'm even starting to watch British show like Miranda.
