Red Riding Hood

I find that fairy tales are bunch of bullshit. I like them better as a fable with gritty story or remake to with great pun like Shrek. Those will keep me glued to it.

Red Riding Hood is not like those told in fairy tale. And to twist the story, the wolf is actually a werewolf, which got me turned off. I was quite amazed that it was discreetly used. The show follow quite closely to the folkfore with the lumberjack, Grandmother in the woods, the basket of goodies, the wolf posing as grandmother and the famous "What big eyes/nose/mouth you have" tagline. It even include the 3 little pigs story into it.With the added mystery of who is the big bad wolf during the day keeps it thrilling like playing Cluedo.

Overall the show is awesome, if only they can make more gruesome fables with twisted storyline.
