World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

I've seen the trailer over iTunes and at the cinema and told myself that I'll just catch this at home since my last alien invasion(Skyline) got me agitated. But my dear friend managed to dragged me into the cinema for this over Rango. I was a bit disappointed but I was wrong.

Battle:LA centers around a platoon of soldiers during times of invasion, unlike Skyline which revolved around dumb-witted party folks. Battle:LA is quite intense with survival, seeing how Lieutenants makes intense decisions to ensure the mission is a success and crossing to safety. It truly reminded me of my time in National Service. What I've learnt is portrayed into the show.

Another aspect of Battle:LA are the aliens itself. They're definately packed with advance technology but their invasion is quite similar to earth military tactics. And they're quite vulnerable unlike most aliens.

It's truly amazing how the band of soldiers fight for their survival. Being able to adapt to situations and even going to the means of personally dissecting the alien to uncover it's weakest spot, and even to their technology. This show is straight up realistic in aspect of human survival and coalition using up to date technology.
