I Wish is a story of 2 brothers, Goichi and Ryu separated by their parents divorce. They stay connected by contacting each other regularly. With the new bullet train starting operation, rumors has it that whoever witness the meeting of 2 passing bullet train, their wish will come true.
Goichi plans and set out an expedition to the location where the bullet train will meet to wish for his family to be together again. Knowing of his brothers attempt, Ryu decided to follow and meet at the said location.
I Wish is a heartwarming family movie about brotherhood and friendship. It may be simple but I still love it because it's simply Japan.I do missed my time out in the rural Japan.
