Underworld - Awakening

My first inbound inflight movie, I actually have most of the shows on my iPad but I was just too troublesome to place it. Since there's the convenience of inflight entertainment, just make full use of it.

After 2 series and a prequel, Underworld returns for the third sequel with Kate Beckinsale as Selene. The show continues after the second with the human society knowing the existence of vampires and lycans. They waged to cleanse the non-human from the world. In attempt to escape the madness, both Selene and Michael tried to escape but got separated in a blast.

Selene woke up 12 years later from cyrogenic slumber to escape from captivity. She was separated from Michael and was searching for him through an unknown telepathic link but only to be rekindled with a new hybrid whom the captors are after.

We're able to figure out the plot by now - heroine ran away with new hybrid, new hybrid got caught while heroine got injured, heroine goes after the new hybrid and kills anyone who stops her with great action sequence. They managed to get back but learned of another plot and decides to stop it. Typical but still entertaining by the hotness of Kate Beckinsale in action. But be warned that this may not be the end of Underworld.
