The Dark Knight Rises

After a great reboot of the Dark Knight in Batman Begins, a spectacular villainous performance in The Dark Knight, the legend ends here for Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale's Batman series. I wonder how Christopher Nolan plans to end the Dark Knight series.

The city is in peace after the death of Harvey "Two-Face" Dent and Batman became a wanted vigilante. Gotham managed to be in peace and Batman to a leave of absence for 8 years. But things went awry when Bane disrupted the stock market.

This time Bane is not all brute as who all would perceived in the cartoons. Bane is a smart sonavab*tch. He managed the organized crime and even managed to defeat Batman during his encounter. Like the comics, Bane broke Batman's spine, leaving Batman crippled for months while he terrorized Gotham. Gotham became like the game of Batman: Arkham City where villains runs the city.

On top of that, there's Anne Hathaway as Catwoman!!! Less latex than Michelle Pheiffer, Anne Hathaway still does a good Catwoman (Definitely better than Halle Berry). The chemistry between Batman and Catwoman is great, just like the comics.

Last addition is Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a police officer John Blake who identified Bruce Wayne as Batman. His intellengence and wits reminds me of someone in the original comic series.

Overall, the Dark Knight Rises is great conclusion to Chrisopher Nolan and Christian Bale Batman. No wonder Christian Bale would not continue on if Robin's involved. Now go figure.
